E-invoicing implementation is uncertain for companies with annual aggregate income of more than Rs. 5 crore. There was news floating around that the e-invoicing threshold may lower even further. However, the government clarified via a tweet from the CBIC handle that the threshold is not getting lower anytime soon.
Currently, as per the e-invoicing mandate, businesses with an annual aggregate turnover of Rs. 10 Cr. Are required to generate e-invoices via official IRPs (government authorized) like IRS IRP.
